Woman’s Best Friend: Dogs and Charlotte Brontë

I have been going through an old hard-drive and found this gem. I wrote it for a post-graduate class in Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte instructed by of the University of Auckland. This paper was high in concept, a bit too high, perhaps, and a significant gamble of my academic career. I believe the concept alone kept it in the B+ range, as I came up a bit short of the minimum word count. At the end of the day, however, I ended up contributing a new look at an author who is well outside my realm of expertise. I am content, though, I still need to add Tartar to the Shirly wikipedia page.
